About Allie
Food that makes everyday life feel cared for.
My love for cooking grew through curiosity, practice and the joy of sharing something delicious with the people around me. Over the years, that love became a craft. I learned to trust my senses, understand ingredients and create original meals that balance nourishment with the flavors people genuinely crave.
Today, I work as a personal home chef in Chicago, creating weekly meal prep, customized menus, baked goods and food for private dinners and small events. I enjoy using fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and adapting dishes to the tastes, schedules and dietary needs of the people I cook for.
At Cookies Craze, I bring that same practical and welcoming approach to every recipe. My goal is to give you instructions you can trust, flavors you will want to make again and the confidence to enjoy your own time in the kitchen.
“The best recipes do more than feed people. They make home feel a little warmer.”
Life and inspiration
A life shaped by people, curiosity and the table.
Before food became my full-time creative path, I studied psychology at the University of Central Florida. That interest in people never left me. It taught me to listen, pay attention and understand that care often lives in the smallest details.
Life has continued to deepen the meaning of food for me. As a wife and mother, I know that dinner is rarely just dinner. It can be the pause at the end of a busy day, a reason to celebrate or a quiet act of love when words are not enough.
My cooking reflects that spirit of exploration. One day it may be sticky gochujang salmon with charred corn, another day harissa-honey carrots with whipped feta, sourdough focaccia pizza or a fresh batch of homemade blueberry fritters. I am always learning, tasting and discovering new ways to make comfort food feel exciting.

Career journey
From people operations to a career built around food.
My professional journey has never been one straight line, but every chapter has taught me something I use today. My education in psychology led to a career supporting people and workplace culture. The organization, empathy, communication and planning required in that work later became an important foundation for my culinary career.
